Italian Gobbler

As the holidays approach, we begin to think of the foods that our families have been passing down for generations. Most foods are staples of holiday meals like turkey and stuffing on Thanksgiving, but the special thing about holiday favorites is that each course is prepared slightly differently from family to family bringing back memories of childhood and moments in life spent with your favorite people. For the month of November, we are introducing our version of a turkey gobbler; a Thanksgiving leftovers specialty that we look forward to each and every year. In between the halved fresh braided roll you will find a cranberry-infused ricotta, wicked thin cutlets, arugula, fried stuffing patties, provolone, and gravy. This sandwich, maybe more so than the others, is almost guaranteed to put you to sleep for that euphoric post Thanksgiving meal nap.

A Paisan is known as a fellow countryman. This gives us our name, Paisani, two Italian-American friends living our dream.

We combine traditional preparations with local ingredients for dishes that are authentic to both their Italian origins and Boston setting.
